During this three-day course, spread over two weeks, you will acquire essential skills in component testing, white-box test techniques, static analysis, non-functional testing, and automated testingall based on the internationally recognized ISTQB standard and best practices. The focus is on structured testing and its practical application.

This course prepares you for the ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst exam. The exam takes place on a separate day, one week after the final course day, and consists of multiple-choice questions. A score of 65% or higher is required to obtain the ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst Certificate.

Doel

After completing this course, you will be able to:
Identify and categorize general risks that impact the performance, security, and reliability of software systems
Develop a test plan that specifies the planning, design, and execution of tests to mitigate risks related to performance, security, reliability, portability, and maintainability
Select and apply appropriate structural design techniques to ensure that tests achieve an optimal level of reliability based on different types of code coverage
Collaborate effectively with developers and software architects during technical reviews
Detect risks in code and software architecture, and design test plan elements to address these risks
Propose improvements for the security, maintainability, and testability of code through the application of static analysis
Estimate the costs and benefits of implementing various types of test automation
Select the right tools to automate technical testing tasks
Understand the technical challenges and concepts involved in applying test automation

Voorkennis

You hold the ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing and have at least 18 months of testing experience.
