Kubernetes quickly has become the de-facto standard to operate containerized applications at scale in the data-center. This Kubernetes training covers the fundamentals needed to understand Kubernetes and get quickly up-to-speed. Learn how to manage the rich collection of Kubernetes objects and understand their interdependence.
This course is an excellent preparation for the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam.
The examvoucher is included with the course. However, the exam itself is not a part of the course. You will receive an examvoucher with which you can take the online exam at a time and location of your choice.
The exam is perfomance-based and has a duration of 2 hours. If you pass, the certificate is valid for 3 years and you’ll receive a digitale badge and a PDF version of the certificate.
The exam voucher will also come with the following benefits: 12 month exam eligibility, one retake and an exam simulator.
The Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) program has been developed by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), in collaboration with The Linux Foundation, to help expand the Kubernetes ecosystem through standardized training and certification.
Objectives
- This three day Kubernetes training will get you quickly up to speed with Kubernetes by theoretical lectures and hands-on exercises. You will learn how to orchestrate a container management platform used by companies like Google.
- This Kubernetes training also covers the topics that are required for the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) exam.
Target audience
– System administrators who want to learn how to manage containers in a Kubernetes cluster.
– Software developers who want to deploy containerized applications to Kubernetes.
Knowledge about Docker containers is preferred but not necessary.
Requirements
For participation in this course, the prerequisite are Linux/UNIX Fundamentals (English) and Linux Infrastructure (English)
